The Rights and Freedom team collaborated with our team to create an investigation into the use of internet shutdowns in authoritarian countries to exert control over their populations. As the art director for this project, I was tasked with creating visuals that would help draw readers to the subject, and present it in a visually engaging way.
The artwork needed to work as a standalone, but feel cohesive as a set. We used bold and striking imagery to capture the themes of this issue and make a strong visual impact.
