Road to Cop15

A series for the Guardian leading up to Cop15 on the 5 biggest threats to the Natural World.

We wanted a visual approach that would connect with readers on a deeper level and stand out from the existing design work linked to Cop15. Rather than relying on stock photography or generic imagery, I sought to commission a series of illustrations that would capture the complexity and emotion of the issues at hand.

Working with Charlotte Ager, we were able to produce a series of illustrations that  were both impactful and emotionally resonant. This helped to create a visual language for the series that was both unique from the more news oriented coverage, and allowed the article to have a larger impact.
